Q: Why
should I put a pool fence around my pool?
A: Because
drowning is the number one cause of accidental injury related
death in children four and under. In children up the age
of fourteen, its the second leading cause of accidental injury
related death. Further, by installing an appropriate
pool fence, you will be giving your children more freedom to
play in the yard without having access to the pool area.
Q: When
should I have a pool fence installed?
A: Your pool
fence should be installed when your child begins to crawl.
Even though they cannot open a door at that point, you don't
want to risk them getting outside and into the pool because
someone else left the door open by mistake. You will
also find the pool fence to be invaluable when you are having
other people over to swim.
Q: How do I
get started?
A:
Call or email to set up a time
for us to take a look at your pool, measure, and give you an
estimate. We would also be happy to give you suggestions
on how to lay out your pool fence (Some
people know what they want, others need some ideas).
At that time, we can show you pictures, samples, and answer
all your questions.
Q: Why
should I hire Crumb Crunchers to help me install my removable
mesh pool fence?
A: Our mission
is to protect kids, both by protecting the pool area and by
helping people to baby proof the inside of their home.
This is not just about installing a fence for you. We
feel we have the best gate in the industry (which is the
most important part of the pool fence system). We
are also a local Sacramento area company. Some of the
other pool fence companies are actually located from outside
the region, and only travel into the area to work.
Further, as the owner, I am either on the job helping to
install your fence, or I personally stop by the finished job
to check the quality of work performed by our fully trained
installers.
Q: Do you
provide installation services?
A: Yes, we have
expert installers that will arrive to your home on time,
install your removable pool fence quickly, and clean up after
themselves! We are also experts at providing customized
solutions for your challenging situations.
Q: How much
does it cost to install a removable mesh pool fence?
A: The cost of
your pool fence will generally depend on the size of your pool
and how much fencing we are actually installing. At
Crumb Crunchers, we will try hard to work within your budget,
and help you choose the most cost effective way to make your
swimming pool as safe as possible for your child.
Q: Can I
purchase the fencing material from you and install it myself?
A: Yes you can.
It would, however, still be a good idea to have us come out
and give you an estimate so that you can compare the price
difference. Many people find that by the time they pay
to rent the proper tools and equipment, and spend the time
needed to install the fence, that it would be better just to
let us install the fence for them.
Q: I
received some used pool fencing from a friend, can you install
it for me?
A: Yes we can.
Remember though, that the pool fencing you purchased does not
have any warranty associated with it since it is used.
Also, you need to be careful about what you are buying since
not all mesh material or pool gates are create equal.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might
have.
Q: Is it
really as easy as you say to take the fence down and reinstall
it?
A: It certainly
is. Most removable mesh pool fences that we install can
very easily be taken down, rolled up, and stored away in about
ten minutes or less. Reinstallation is just as easy.
That's what's so nice about this fence. When you have an
adult pool party, simply take the fence down and enjoy a nice
open pool are. This is also great for grandparent - when
the kids are not around you do not have to have the fence up.
Q: Why
should I install a pool fence instead of a pool cover or a
pool alarm?
A: There really
is a different reason as you compare it to each of the
different alternatives. The main reason is that the pool
fence system which includes the self closing and self latching
gate is the safest protection you can find. The self
closing gate takes the human element out of the equation.
You don't have to put a cover back on the pool, remember to
turn a pool alarm back on after using the pool, and the list
goes on.
Q: Will
this fence help me pass code requirements?
A: It
definitely will. Our five foot high fence will help with
all the following: New swimming pool building code
requirements, day care licensing requirements, foster care
regulations, adoptions requirements, and others.
